Work with a team to design a go kart from the ground up. It is up to the team to ensure that the kart’s functionality and safety aligns with the systems such as the handling, throttle, brakes, drive train, and more.

Integrate the automotive systems together on a custom built frame. This is also a great opportunity to learn the basics of welding and machining metal.

Test your kart and race it in the final timed trial competition to determine which team’s go kart has been built to its full potential.
